Hi I'm Josh

I'm a pharmacist. I'm a dad. I'm a husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love science. I studied chemistry and microbiology as an undergraduate. I loved learning about how medications work, so I went to pharmacy school. Now I work as a pharmacist in the best hospital in the world. I love playing sports. I'm an avid runner and hiker. I love being in the mountains. College football and the Tour de France are my favorite sports to watch. Recently, I found that I love to learn about history. I listen to biographies and books about history on my MP3 player while I run. I've been married for 12 years and have 3 energetic and inquisitive children.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church provides so much support to me in being a husband and father. It teaches me how to do those things well. My children learn how to be responsible members of the community. Ultimately, I am a Mormon because I have felt the Holy Spirit confirm to me that the doctrines the church teaches are true. I didn't always know that, but I do today.

How I live my faith

I am assigned to be the hometeacher for 3 families. I visit their home every month to share a spiritual message and to see if there is anything I can do to help them. When they need help, they know to call me first.

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

We believe that we all fall short and make mistakes, but that we can be reconciled to God through the Grace of Jesus Christ. Everything else the church teaches is a detail of that doctrine. Show more Show less
