Hi I'm Angie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom and grandma! I love being a grandma. I work part time at a post office type business. I enjoy laughing, swimming, dancing, reading, shopping, gardening, sewing for my grandchildren, taking photographs, especially of the grands, and having lunch with my friends. I didn't think I was interested in doing very much until I started typing this! haha!

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight by my grandfather, who was our bishop. I was his first grandchild to graduate from seminary. During college I didn't go to church. I met my husband, got married and started a family. When our children were young I wanted them to know that Jesus is their Savior, too; that he died for them and their mistakes and no matter what they might ever do that was wrong, they could ask for forgiveness and He would forgive them. We all make mistakes so I knew they'd need this knowledge. We started going back to church and I'm so very glad we did! Jesus is my Savior too! He and Heavenly Father know me and LOVE me! Prayers are our means of communication with Him. He hears our prayers and answers them--not always when and how we'd want them to be answered but they are answered. Our message is a messaage of love and hope. Heavenly Father is a loving God and Father who wants the best for all his children; that means me!

How I live my faith

I teach the class of 3 year olds on Sundays. I love it! They're so honest and happy and sweet and active; their attitude is contagious! I go to work the next week happy and determined to help others have a good experience while they're in our store. I love to visit the sisters assigned to me to visit teach. My past visiting teachers were very involved and helpful getting me to come back to church and I want to help my sisters as well. I enjoy the contact with them, especially if they are someone I don't seem to have much in common with.
