Hi I'm Bobbi

I'm a SoCal mother & a wife. I'm a student. I'm an athlete & a health nut. I own a yorkie & love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to do anything that challenges me! Right now my biggest challenge is raising my eighteen month old son- he is everywhere at once! I'm passionate about teaching him to live the way that will help him to be healthy and happy. I love to run with baby and tiny dog in tote. I'm on a softball team and I play recreational volleyball once a week. I also love rock climbing and swimming- I used to do both for a living now I am a stay-home-mom. I love to cook wholesome food for my family and my neighbors, I especially love cooking asian food. I'm currently a student studying nutrition and in the future I hope to help children that struggle with obesity.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents converted to the Mormon church before they got married- so I was born into a family blessed with the gosple of Jesus Christ. Although I was taught the gosple all of my life there came a time when I needed to know for myself that God was real and that Jesus Christ could do all the Book of Mormon and Bible tell me he did My father was very sick with brain cancer and modern medicine had done all they could do for him, death was at our door. I went to the temple to pray, I needed to know the truth. I was sitting on the temple grounds singing some church hymns, I kept feeling a strong urge to sing a Mormon hymn called "I know my Redeemer Lives". I kept putting it off because I couldn't remember all the words to the song, but when I finally started singing I knew that God was real and that Jesus Christ would take care of my father in the after life! I felt so strongly that Jesus Christ lived and died for me and for everyone on this earth. I felt his love and compassion for me personally. He loves us! Although my father is seperated from me in this life I will see him in the next. This is so important to me, not only because of my passed father, but because of my current family, my husbad and my son. My husband and I got married for time and all eternity so we will be a family forever.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith with every action I make. First off, and most importantly I teach my son about the gosple of Jesus Christ. I read scriptures and say prayers with him during the day. I try to teach him to be patient and kind and to help those around him. I'm so blessed to have my son in my life, he is a joy that God has given me. I serve my husband and son by taking care of our son by doing the house work and healthy food in their stomachs. I love to cook and share my testimony of Jesus Christ and his church on this earth today with my neighbors. My husband and I teach the 6-year-olds about Jesus Christ and his gosple at church. I try to keep the commandments that God has given to me- I can never repay Him for the breath in my lungs and the blessings he continues to give me, but I am trying my best.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Bobbi
There have been prophets since the very beginning- Adam! Heavenly Father sends prophets to teach us his word so that we can choose to follow it and find our way back to him. God loves us just as he loves those that lived before- that is why there were prophets then just like there is one today. Show more Show less
