Hi I'm Larry

I'm a regular guy in Colorado who believes in the Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a middle-aged dad of four beautiful children, who are growing up way too fast. When I'm not helping out with the groceries or organizing things around the house, I like to play the piano and watch fun shows on TV. Serving as a missionary in Japan for 2 years was by far the toughest and most educational thing I've ever done.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I'm a Mormon not just because I was born into a Mormon family, it's because I found out through my own experience (via the Holy Ghost) that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Messiah's one approved faith. It's the only denomination with the authority to perform ordinances, and it teaches the same doctrines that were taught by Adam, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. Let's say, hypothetically, that I left my church... To which organization would I go? I can't think of a single entity that would satisfactorily replace my faith. The LDS Church promises not only the greatest blessings in this life through following Christ, but the greatest rewards in the life to come. Read the Book of Mormon. It will change your life!

How I live my faith

I help people in our congregation by visiting some of them to find out how they're doing. I encourage them to attend church meetings and read the scriptures. In other words, I try to do my part to help the flock grow in faith. I also like to encourage people to be prepared for the prophesied events that will occur before the Second Coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ. How? Store extra food and necessities. Show Christlike love to those around you. Repent. Become familiar with scriptures that explain what will happen before the Lord's return. Whatever you do, don't lose faith.
