Hi I'm John

I grew up in New Zealand. Have lived and worked in PNG. I work for the world's largest contract miner. I love rugby. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a dad of five children and a husband. My family is my greatest joy. I enjoy physical activity to try stay in shape but my current eating habits undo all the good work I do in exercising. I enjoy going to the football - rugby union, rugby league and aussie rules - in that order. I am Chartered Accountant (CA) but I don't much accounting anymore. My work sees me training and helping young people start their career as apprentices. My name is John and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it leads to happiness and self assurance. I still face challenges - but the church keeps me grounded and helps me to know the purpose of life and what lies ahead after death. Being a Mormon helps lead to a very happy family lifestyle.

How I live my faith

I give of my time and talents to the church - other people. At the moment I am a Bishop - leading a local congreation. Next year I may be asked to hand out the hymn books. My faith helps me a lot in being a better husband and father.
