Hi I'm Megan

I love my family, I like to Laugh, laughing with my family is the best and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been raised a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have a wonderful family which include 4 sisters and 10 beautiful nieces and nephews. I work with Deaf students as a British Sign Language interpreter. I love my Job! However a recent trip to Uganda, Africa has turned my world upside down and now my goal is to train to become a child's nurse here in the UK, so I can return as a humanitarian nurse. I was called by the Lord to serve as a missionary in the Salt Lake City, Temple Square mission. I served for 2 months also In the Mississippi Jackson Mission. My mission, the lessons I learnt and most importantly the people I met changed my life and I will never forget them.

Why I am a Mormon

I know Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he has brought back his church by calling a prophet named Joseph Smith. This knowledge has given me more happiness and understand than I could ever imagine. Heavenly Father lives and he loves us. I feel his love for me everyday. Jesus Christ has provided us a way to return to live with him, I am a child of God, He knows me. I have been taught from a young age by wonderful Parents and teachers. I have come to know for myself bit by bit that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's Church on the earth once again. This is testified to me again and again by the whispering of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I strive everyday to live how Heavenly Father would want me to live. I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ and show love to all those I come across. I seek daily for Heaven's help and to help those around me. I see the hand of the lord in my life so often and feel his love for me and for his other children. I seek his Guidance and counsel through Prayer and Scripture Study.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Jesus Christ didn't ask anyone to simply baptise him, He walked many miles and sought out John the Baptist to preform this sacred ordinance. John had authority from God to do this. Today that same authority John baptised Christ with is on the earth and is held by worthy male members of the Church who have been given this priesthood authority. Show more Show less
