Hi I'm Bryce

I'm a designer, blogger, inventor, dad and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Bryce. I have 3 little kiddos and a perfect wife. I feel pretty lucky. I've liked to design products since I was young. I was lucky enough to find Industrial Design one day walking through the halls of my college. I've designed products that millions of people across the US have purchased. Creating new things from scratch is a pretty fun way to spend your day. I've been to China a few times for work. I think the Chinese people are really special. They have a lot of potential. I like cars, unique watches, and collecting guns. When I was young, I would go to gun shows with my dad. The history behind some of the pistols and guns I find pretty interesting. I have a good family, most of which are from Iowa. My mom and dad were baptized when they were in college. None of my extended family members are Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Living the principles of Jesus Christ brings true joy. I believe most people are good, and all people have good somewhere inside them. I don't need to be Mormon to be a good person. I believe the when Jesus Christ was on earth, he organized his church. He ordained prohpets and apostles to lead his followers. I know that Christ has restored his church and the priesthood authority on the earth today. I can always be a good person, regardless if I am Mormon or not. However, I want to recieve the blessings of Christ's church. These include: baptism, recieving the gift of the Holy Ghost, eternal marraige. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Being Mormon isn't about going to church on Sunday in a white shirt and tie. It's a lot more than that. The goal of every Mormon is to become more like Christ. When Christ was on earth, he spent his days serving. I try to live my faith by serving others. Poeple matter most. The individual. In my personal life I try to find big and small ways to serve. Sometimes its pulling weeds for a neighbor, sometimes it means leaving on a mission for two years to Australia. Most of the time it means giving up what I want to serve others. I have a chance to do that every day as a Mormon.
