Hi I'm David

I am studying biology, am a new father, and am enjoying life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a senior at a local college studying Biology. My wife and I just had our first child in June and the new addition to the family is a challenge, but it's wonderful at the same time. I want to become a medical doctor - I believe it's what God wants me to do for my career. So far times are tough with getting the scores I need to enter medical school, but I know with my perseverance and help from family, friends, and God I can achieve my goals.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the LDS church and have even served a mission for the church. I remain an active member because of the peace and happiness I feel as I live the commandments. When I fail to live up to what God expects of me I don't find the same level of peace and joy in my life. I know the teachings of this church are correct because God confirms them in my heart and gives me assurance and solace in a dangerous and threatening world.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the Sunday school leadership to coordinate teaching in multiple congregations. I also visit other members of the congregation to see how I can help them or their families in any way.
