Hi I'm Lizzie

I'm a baker. I'm a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom. I have to deliciously fabulous little boys that keep me busy. I also make and decorate cakes from home. I love baking, my family, and indulging in reality TV.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in raised in the church but lived a life contrary to its beliefs for most of my youth. It wasn't until my senior year of college that I finally hit bottom and decided it was time to make a decision. I started going back to church and found peace and clarity that I had never known before. After reading the Book Of Mormon for the first time I was given affirmation of its truth and it changed my life forever. I have so many blessings in my life and continue to be amazed by the Lord's generosity.

How I live my faith

I am a counselor in the Primary Presidency in my ward. I work with the children ages 18 months to 12 years old. I help to teach them the basic principles of the gospel. I encourage them to live the gospel. I love them. It brings me so much joy to see them develop testimonies of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Lizzie
Heavenly Father has given us everything. All he asks in return is that we give back 10. I love paying my tithing. I know that the 10 I give will be used in a far better way, with a far greater purpose than I could ever give it. I am grateful for the opportunity to help build the Lord's kingdom on Earth.
