Hi I'm Paul

I'm a father and grandfather. I am basketball and volleyball referee. I'm a financial consultant and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am the father of six wonderful children and two grandsons. I have been married to the love of my life for over 29 years. I am a financial consultant for a public utility in Colorado. My favorite hobby is to referee high school basketball and volleyball. I love refereeing basketball because I love the game, I love the kids, I get great exercise and they pay me to do it. I also love to play golf and to ski.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings great joy to my life. I was baptized into the church a week before my 12th birthday. My oldest sister was baptized three years before me. I remember listening to general conference (a church meeting) on TV and wondering who this guy Joseph Smith was that they kept talking about. I also remember having a good feeling about what they were saying. Shortly after that I began talking to the missionaries. Being only 11 years old and only having been to church a few times in my life, my mind was open about religion. It just made sense to me. If Heavenly Father had prophets in the Bible, then why shouldn't we have prophets now. Families should be able to be together forever. The decision to be baptized is the best decision that I have ever made. It has brought incredible joy to my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others whenever I can. I attend church weekly and having daily family prayer and scripture study. Also by supporting our twin boys, who are serving missions in Oregon and Idaho.
