Hi I'm David Lambertson

I grew up in California. I am currently serving a mission in Australia. I love technology. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've attended a year of college. I am studying Computer Science. I love technology. I am currently serving a mission in the Australia Sydney mission. I love to travel around the world with my family and have been to many places. I have been a member my entire life, growing up in the church. My father passed away while I was young and growing up was hard without a father. through the church though, I had many 'fathers' who watched over me as a grew up and have helped shaped who I am now. I dont know where I would be without the church in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a mormon because I know this religion is true. I know this gospel brings blessings into your life and family. I know everything in the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true and meant to be here on the Earth. I know God loves us and wouldn't keep this from us, which is why he revealed his Gospel here on the Earth today. I know the Book of Mormon to be the Word of God given to us in these Latter-Days and helps us return to live with our Heavenly Father as we follow Jesus Christ's example and endure to the end. I know the gospel blesses familys in many ways and that the family unit is a huge part of church life. Families are there to strengthen us and help us grow and by being a member, you dont only have your immediete family but you also have your church family who also watches out for you and loves you and takes care of you.

How I live my faith

I attend church every sunday and daily study from the Scriptures. I am currently serving a mission and so I go out bring the Gospel to anyone who is willing to listen. When I hear of a service opportunity in my area, I try to keep my schedule clear so I am able to attend and help those who need my help. I love serving in my area and helping out when I can. I love to share the gospel with anyone who is willing to listen and even then, I just love talking to people who just want to talk.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

David Lambertson
Tithing is one Tenth of the income of the person. Tithing goes toward the building up of new church buildings around the world, provide operating funds to keep the church going and working. Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

David Lambertson
We believe the Bible to be Word from God. We know that it was written by Prophets called of God and the teachings in it is the foundation of the church. But since the Bible has been changed over time, We also believe the Book of Mormon to be Word from God, which complements the Bible in what it teaches. the Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It holds the fullness of the Gospel in it and that is why we also read from the Book of Mormon. Show more Show less
