Hi I'm Justen Meneses

I'm a solider, I'm a husband and father, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the most blessed man alive! I'm married to the most beautiful woman on earth and have the most loving and amazing children. I have three boys and one little girl with a fifth on its way. I'm a convert to the church and what a blessing it has been to know and have a testimony of Gods love for me and the forgiving power of Jesus Christ. I'm 37 years of age and serving in the Nebraska Army National Guard and working for the United States Postal Service. I'm currently attending Bellevue University working on completing my Masters Degree and hoping to be done in January 2012.

Why I am a Mormon

I spent most of my life feeling unworthy of Heavenly Father and especially his ability to forgive. I was a non-attending Catholic who just felt lost and empty inside. I was given a copy of the Book of Mormon by my wife and was asked to read it. I did read with the intention of just reading a few word or sentences and putting it down, but instead found myself reading it every day and night. I found answers to questions that no one had ever been able to provide. I began to fill Gods grace and love for me. I was given the testimony of his forgiveness in Mosiah 4:10 "believe that ye must repent of your sins and forsake them, and humble yourselves before God; and ask in sincerity of heart that he would forgive you; and now if you believe all these things see that ye do them". At that moment I prayed and asked the Lord for forgiveness and was given my answer and received unto myself Him and desired to be baptized.

How I live my faith

I serve in our ward as the Ward Mission Leader. It has been a learning experience to say the least. I love it, and have enjoyed meeting those who are learning about the church and teaching lessons in the Gospel Principle class. I try to live my faith by example. Jesus Christ has set the example, by loving all and serving everyone. I'm trying to follow his lead, in loving my fellow man and doing my best to be a good example. I love to be of service to those around me and find great joy in serving ours.
