Hi I'm Robin

I grew up in Hawaii. I love Mexican food. I am a mother of 2 little boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay-at-home mom of 2 boys, aged 2 and soon-to-be 1. It's a struggle to find any time during the day to work on hobbies or interests, but I'm trying to learn how to cook and feed my family healthy foods and to decorate our new home! I have a Bachelor's degree and taught High and Middle school math for 3 years. I thought teaching was hard, but being a mom is much harder! Having the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a loving, supportive husband are what sustain me on this journey.

Why I am a Mormon

I loved learning about our loving Savior Jesus Christ as a child and youth. As I kept the commandments and followed the counsel of my parents, I felt happy and was able to recognize my blessings in life. During my young adult years, I had many opportunities to seek the Lord's help in deciding which path to follow, and I know He was there to guide me. I learned for myself that God lives and that He loves me no matter what. I love the Book of Mormon and know that it is the word of God, brought forth in this day and age to help us find the way back to live with Him someday.

How I live my faith

I try to read the scriptures daily and I rely on prayer several times a day, seeking the Lord's help and finding answers to my questions and concerns. I try to be a good example to others, especially my babies, and enjoy reading Bible stories with them and singing songs about how to be like Jesus. On Sunday, I often help out in the class for very small children and once a month I teach the Gospel to a class for women. It is such a blessing to be able to serve my brothers and sisters in this way because I feel Heavenly Father's love for them.
