I am a husband and a father. I was born and raised in California and am currently living in Calgary, Alberta Canada. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of two boys. I have been able to serve as a Boy Scout leader to my sons and other boys. I work in the energy sector helping to manage power projects as well as natural gas distribution projects. I enjoy camping, hiking, snow skiing, playing music, cycling, and just hanging out with my wife and boys.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My Dad's family traveled across the plains as Mormon Pioneers. However, my Mom joined the church after she and my Dad married. So I look at my mother as a pioneer in her own right. Although I have grown up as a Mormon I had to receive a witness for myself that the teachings and beliefs of the church were indeed true. Through prayer, study, meditation and some struggle I received that witness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through serving in my local congregation as a clerk. I help to keep the operations of the congregation running smoothly and seamlessly. On an individual level I try to be a good example of my faith. I

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

A Mormon's lifestyle is similar to the lifestyle of people who fully practice their religion. Mormon's value time spent with their family. Mormons want the best for their children. They want to be part of their communities - taking part not just partaking. I have always believed that a cross section of a Mormon congregation would reflect the cross section of the community where the congregation resides. Show more Show less
