Hi I'm Dan

I grew up in Gig Harbor, Washington. I love my wife, the outdoors, playing sports, and helping people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life. I believe in being happy. In July, I married my best, best friend. Being a newlywed is fun, new and exciting. My wife and I both really enjoy movie watching, as lame as that might seem. I like to cook, and she loves baking - so that works out great. I love hiking, camping, the ocean, and the outdoors in general. I love learning, I love working, and I love meeting new people. We're just normal, average, everyday people; we're trying to do our best, and having the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives helps. I believe in being happy, because that's how I think God wants me, and all of us, to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the best way I know to live a life that I think my Heavenly Father will be pleased with.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example of happy and Christlike living each day. In the home I grew up in my mother had this quote posted in the family room: “The best and most clear indicator that we are progressing spiritually and coming unto Christ is the way we treat other people.” ― Marvin J. Ashton I believe that this is true. I do not try to force my religion, or other beliefs for that matter, on others; I do, however, try to proudly live my faith each day and hope that others will ask what makes me different.
