Hi I'm Mark

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, father, and grandfather. I work in the computer software industry where I manage a software development team. I enjoy swimming and cycling. I survived "Ride the Rockies" and have commuted to work by bicycle for many years.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have found a sense of peace and a sense of purpose in Jesus Christ and in the good news of His atonement and resurrection. He provides hope in challenging times and His teachings are a challenge and an invitation to improve.

How I live my faith

I am delighted to serve as a Boy Scouts of America Cycling merit badge counselor. I'm also honored to have served and been associated with many wonderful people through the church. I've lead the children in singing during the children's portion of our worship services, I've coordinated activities for youth, and I've taught early morning religion classes to high school age students. I served a two year full-time mission to northern Italy. While there, I was allowed to serve as the head of a small congregation in the town of Rimini. We shared our witness of Jesus Christ, we loved the people, and we served them. My missionary service in Italy was a great experience and opened my young eyes to a much wider world.
