Hi I'm Chris

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Chris and I am currently going to physical therapy school. Life can be pretty hectic at times trying to balance church, school, family, and maintaining a social life, but that is part of the fun in life! I sing in the car, quote movies, listen / play music, and play all kinds of sports.

Why I am a Mormon

Family is a central focus in God's plan and in the church. I was raised in a great family with parents who taught me about the gospel and how to implement those teachings into my life. More than anything, I want to raise a family centered around the teachings of Jesus Christ and to teach them of the atoning sacrifice of the Savior. Through living those teachings, I have felt the guidance of Heavenly Father through the gift of the Holy Ghost. There are a lot of things in the World that detract from family values, that say that keeping God's commandments is restrictive to happiness, but it is so important to stand up for virtuous things. Christ said that we should be holy as our Father in Heaven. Avoiding a lot of the things the World has to offer can bring us that much closer to becoming as God is.

How I live my faith

Being a member of this church means everything to me. It influences how I treat those around me by seeing each individual's divine potential, or how I conduct myself when I am in public or alone in my apartment. Also, it influences the thoughts I think and I try to keep them clean and uplifting. I try to be happy, positive, and see the brighter side of life. I'm definitely not perfect, but every day I try to be better. I know that God loves me. He knows me by name and He listens and answers me when I pray. He is a micro manager in my life and wants me to succeed in all aspects of my life. He truly is a loving Father in Heaven that wants us to keep His commandments and to utilize the atonement of His son Jesus Christ in our daily lives so we can be clean and live with Him again.
