Hi I'm Jonathan

I'm a father and a husband and currently attending Physical Therapy school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently living in Omaha Nebraska attending Physical Therapy School at Creighton University. I am married and have 2 beautiful children. I grew up in a small town in Idaho and I met my wife in college. Although I'm not a huge runner, I only run if I'm chasing a ball or getting chased by a bear, I consider myself very active and will play any sport. Music is a huge part of my life and I play the guitar, drums and the piano (although quite poorly for the last of the instruments). I played in a rock band in high school and college. My wife will tell you that there are very few instances in which I'm not listening to music, talking about music or playing music.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are Mormon and I was born into the religion. HOWEVER, it has ultimately been my decision to remain active. One of the biggest factors for me is the belief of eternal families. I can't imagine a world in which I couldn't be with my family forever. I feel that for the most part all of the religions of the world teach a lot of the same moral values and standards and that all want what's best for their members. One very important and distinct difference is the belief that the authority to act in the name of Jesus Christ was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith. Another contributing factor is the many humanitarian and service opportunities that the church provides to those in need.

How I live my faith

I am currently responsible for taking care of the finances of our ward (specific geographical area or members). It has helped me gain an appreciation and understanding for how sacred these finances are and just how serious they are treated by the church. I try to be involved and attend many different activities that are put on by different church organizations.
