Hi I'm Taylor

AMERICAN! I'm from Utah. I LOVE the outdoors. I LOVE sports. I'm a TWIN. I'm an Eagle Scout. And I'm a Mormon!!!

About Me

I have a big family! There are 8 kids in my family and all of them are married except me and my twin who is my best friend. Oh and we're gonna be BFFF. So back at home in the United States of America I loved to play sports, I played football and ran track in high school. I'm what you would call a sports FREAK! I love Football, it's AWESOME! I enjoy being active and living a healthy life-style. I love the outdoors, nothin can compare to the beautiful scenery of the mountains! I love shootin guns, huntin, hangin out with my family and friends and watchin good movies. When I get home from my mission I plan on joinin the United States Army.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon from goodly parents who love the Lord. They taught me what was right in the sight of God and how I can find the REAL happiness in this life! I've always been a member of the church but I haven't always believed what I know to be true now. My testimony came from reading and praying to know if The Book of Mormon is true. I read the Book of Mormon when I was 18, while I was reading, I had heaps of good spiritual experiences so sure enough I got my answer and that is why I'm serving a full-time mission. I know as I continue living the Gospel standards, I can and WILL live with my family for ALL ETERNITY!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a full-time mission in the Australia Melbourne Mission. I love it! And as a missionary we invite ALL of those who would like, to come closer to Christ and we teach them the things that have brought us the most happiness. This work and this Gospel truly brings me the most happiness. Serving as the Savior did.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

The Word of Wisdom is the respect for our bodies because our bodies are what God has given to us. We don't smoke, drink alcohol/tea/coffee, or do drugs that are harmful to our bodies. We also don't abuse perscription drugs. This law is given for our benefit so we can be happy and healthy while we are here living on earth. This is out of respect for our bodies and ESPECIALLY our Loving Father in Heaven. Show more Show less

How are modesty and chastity related? How can parents teach their children to be modest in dress, language and behavior?

Modesty and Chastity are related because God has given us these great gifts (our bodies) and expects us to take care of them. If we dress immodestly then that can lead to disobeying the law of chastity. If we use clean language, have good behavior and dress modestly it will be HEAPS of help to obey the law of chastity. Our bodies are temples, most sacred, and we should keep them that way. Show more Show less
