Hi I'm Trudy

...and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I come from a ginormous family... 20 siblings! however that number does include 8 half siblings and 3 steps... and I'm right in the middle of that group with 9 younger siblings. I am the mom to 3 beautiful kids, that are growing up way too fast! I like to stay busy-busy... I'm either teaching myself a new skill, or finding adventures for my family or crafting a new project or out shooting photos - a hobby that has turned into a business. I could not be happier with my place in life.

Why I am a Mormon

My ginormous family and I were raised Mormons, for me and my 9 full-blooded siblings we have ancestry on one side of the family that goes all they way back to Brigham Young my great-great-great-great uncle and on the other side my mom, my inspiration a convert. Being Mormon is who I am.

How I live my faith

My faith keeps me busy from teaching 3 year olds the gospel --my favorite thing to do-- to youth and adult Sunday lessons ---not nearly as fun as 3 year olds but still rewarding in it's own way. I have served in many other leadership roles as a Mormon, all of which have taught me to look for the good in people, to serve and to love. While it's not always easy to see the good in someone or to serve or love each other I have found that it does get easier with time and a little effort.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

You can't always spot a Mormon in a crowd, it usually takes a little more observing of character to spot one. Mormons dress like an average person with some basic guidelines to modesty but nothing too extreme. Mormons live in trailer parks and mansions, depending on where you live you may have one or many on your street and in your town. Mormons have TV's, electronics and go to amusement parks, museums and enjoy much of the same entertainment any other person does, with the exception of avoiding things that are too violent or inappropriate in other ways. Most notably Mormons don't smoke, drink or curse ... we really are quite average. Show more Show less
