Hi I'm Susan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a small town southern girl from North Carolina. I grew up with four awesome sisters and two loving paretsn. I am the wife of a wonderful man and a mother to two wonderful boys. i enjoying sewing, running, and reading. I am obsessed with The Killers. I live 2,200 miles away from my best friend and I miss her like crazy. I am a people pleaser. I love to make people happy and I hate letting people down. My family, my friends, and my faith are the most important things to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to have parents that raised my in the church. I always believed what my parents and my church leaders taught me, I never questioned or had any doubt that the church was not true. However, I knew how important it was to gain a testimony of my own. My early morning studies of the scriptures during my high school years gave me the oppurnity to study on my own and pray for the knowledge that I needed to continue in the church. I grew up in a small town with only a handful of other young church members. Although I was never ridiculed for my faith, I was constantly surrounded by things that the I did not agree with. I turned to my Heavenly Father in prayer to strengthen me in these situations. I am a Mormom, because I have felt the guidance of my Heavenly Father throughout my life. I have felt happiness when I know I have done somthing that pleases Him and I have felt guilt and sorrow when I have disappionted Him. I have also had the wonderful feeling His mercy through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I know that there is no way that I could return to live with God without repentance. I have felt the sweet feeling of God's mercy in my life as I have been forgiven of my imperfections. I am a Mormom, because families should be together forever. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ gives familes this oppurtunity, by allowing us to be sealed for eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to obey my Father in Heaven. I attend church meetings, I read the scriptures, I pray for strength against temptations, I dress modestly, and I keep my body clean from harmful substances.
