Hi I'm Ed

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, a father, a grandfather , and a great grandfather. I am a retired engineer and I like to be in the outdoors to enjoy the beauties of nature. I love to take pictures, particularly of wild flowers and outdoor scenes as well as sunsets. I like to cook outdoors and enjoy cooking and baking in a Dutch oven. I enjoy oil painting, gardening and spend a lot of time just pondering. I enjoy spending time with my kids and grandkids. They are all so special!

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the creation was not by accident, that we have a purpose on this earth, and that we are not left alone to wander through this life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is complete and thorough and is for all of us. The teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ are centered around Jesus and the family is the most important unit in the church. We are Christians and we are here to help one another and to so live in this life that it will provide us possibilities in the eternities of time.

How I live my faith

I try very hard to live the principles of the Gospel. I feel that we are on the earth to learn and grow and develop an understanding of where we came from, where we are now, and where we can be after we leave this life. It is really necessary for us to live together in harmony and continually try to be good examples and never tire in giving service. We must be an example of honesty, integrity, self reliance, and hard work to our children and grandchildren and teach them the value of these principles in our lives as well as their own.
