Hi I'm Grant

I'm a musician, I'm writing a book, I speak french, I love Christmas, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I love music. I'm working on starting my own record company. I am enrolled in Brigham Young University. I think it's sweet when your psychology teacher uses examples from scriptures to teach you something. I learned french by going on a mission for the Church in Quebec. I'm writing a science fiction book about the issues. I love music. Did i already say that? whatever. it's chill.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I would say that those who are born into the church are the hardest to convert. I was lucky to have grown up in a home where family was more important than anything else. My grandpa had prepared his family to support each other and help each other to grow, and as a result his son and all of his grandsons, including me, have achieved many great and prestigious things; like being eagle scouts, serving missions, and marrying in the Temple (for those who are married so far). I am the last to serve a mission, and i am working hard to do my best for the Lord. I love this Church, and I love God and i know he will help me through anything. He has done so before, and I have no doubt that He will in the future.

How I live my faith

I'm serving a mission in french for 2 years. When i go back home, i'll be super active in all of the church activities. hopefully i'll be able to help plan some. I tell all my employers that i can't work on Sundays. (still got the jobs, by the way.) I love everyone i meet, and everyone i don't meet. I help people that need it when the opportunity arises. I jam to Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Only worthy members are allowed in the temple. Everything that goes on in the temple is in the scriptures. The ordinances in the temple are specifically designed to bring families together, whether they are living still, or have passed on to the next life. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Grace is amazing. It's like Jesus gives us free piano lessons for life, and all he asks us to do is practice. If we mess up, it doesn't mean we aren't worthy to practice the piano. we have to keep going. there are more options than either Carnagie Hall, or giving up. Jesus paid for all of our sins. We will all be brought back into the presence of God because of Him. Our works then determine how long we will stay there, and how comfortable we will be there. Have I been saved by Grace? You bet!! but have you been changed by it? Show more Show less

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

It's a big issue in California. I have tons of gay friends. they are among some of the best friends i have. i love them just like i love the rest of my friends. Homosexuality is just another trial some humans have to endure. Some people get angry very easily. some are born without arms or legs. But Jesus Christ can help all of these people, and more importantly, he LOVES all of these people. of that i have no doubt. Show more Show less
