Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a proud Coloradan, stencil artist and city dweller. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The most important role in my life is as a husband and father. I have two little girls under the age of four who I love to beyond what I ever dreamed. My wife is a strong, smart woman, and I hope my girls follow her example. We are true Coloradans: we love to hike, camp, snowboard and be out in the sun. We purchased a home recently in an urban neighborhood that is neither hip nor particularly interesting, but we feel strongly about maintaining a connection to our city. We spend a lot of our time working on our home, renovating bathrooms, laying sod and planting trees. While I work in public relations, with a focus on social media, my true passion is art. I bounce between illustration and street art in the form of stencils, and I make some money selling my work online. Creating is something I make time for every single day.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that being a Mormon gives me the best chance to have a strong and successful family. By living it's principles, I am a better husband, father, citizen and man. As I focus my life on Christ, I experience joy and feel increased ability to affect those around me for the better.

How I live my faith

I help support the leader of our local congregation, called a Bishop. We are all unpaid, so we donate as much time as we can, whether it's helping a family move, coordinating meals for a sick individual or planning social events. Its not always easy to give up the little free time I have - I've missed more than a couple of my beloved Broncos games - but I always feel fulfilled as I serve others. My family and I feel a responsibility to be good citizens of our city and neighborhood, so we stay connected with our neighbors and take care of each other.
