Hi I'm Teri

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mom and a grandmother, I also am a Registered Nurse. My day starts at 4am, if I don't get my exercise in at that time, it won't happen. Thus, I go to the gym on my way to work. I love the outdoors, I like to hike and bike and camp and fish. I am fortunate to live in Colorado where you can do all of those things. I enjoy reading and doing Family History work. I love to spend time with my grandchildren. They are the reward we gain from being parents! I am fortunate to be married to a wonderful man who likes to do all of the activities that we do together.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 16 and my family joined slowly after that. I love the gospel. It truly gives you direction in your life. I am so grateful for the atonement of Jesus Christ which gives us the opportunity to repent when we do something wrong. I love the Temple, it is a place of joy and peace. I am so fortunate to be a member of the church, it allows everyone the opportunity to grow in spirituality and to continue on a path back to our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have loved every calling that I have had in the church. I spent many years teaching the children from 3-11. I have been able to work with the teenage girls and also with the women. Currently I am on a committee that organizes additional monthly meetings for the women of the church. We learn how to serve one another, how to help our families be strong and most especially how to love one another. I love to look for my ancestors and to hopefully get to know them and their lives.
