Why I am a Mormon

I know that God the Eternal Father and His Son Jesus Christ have again caused the Church of Jesus Christ to be organized here on this earth and that they did so to give You and Me the opportunity to become better than we now are, leading Us to, at some time in the future, becoming as they now are and they are Happy and Filled with Joy. I like that. I want that. I can do that and so can you.

How I live my faith

I serve as an Executive Secretary in the Arizona City Ward. I serve as a Home Teacher and visit some familes that live in my area. Pray and Read the Scriptures every day. The way to the Happiness and Joy, that we all seek, is: 1) Choose the Right 2) Follow the Prophet 3) Learn and Live and Like the commandments of God

How does the Church finance its operations?

Wendell Eyring
T I T H I N G You pay Tithing with Faith.......... When you receive your income, you give the 1st 10% to the Lord, then give the next 10% to yourself, then live on the 80% you have left. Try it, it works (smile) Show more Show less

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

Wendell Eyring
Abortion Don't do it Perhaps if the Life of the Mother is in danger and an abortion will save that life but even then there are a lot of wonderful and thankful people alive today because the mother took that risk and nobody died and everybody now has Happiness and Joy Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Wendell Eyring
The Infinite Atonement was needed so that you and I could go back and live with and be like our Heavenly Parents. They have a wonderful Happy Life that is Full of Joy. We want that. Problem was, once we committed our first Sin we could no longer qualify to go back and live with them. The Law of Justice would not allow that. The Lord's House is a House of Order. No unclean thing can enter into the Celestial Glory of God. Jesus Christ, our Savior, had the ability and capacity to pay the price for Sin and he chose to do so. Don't ask me to explain how Infinite things are done, because I am working a Finite Mind. (smile) So, if we repent, Our Savior has paid the price for our sin. If we do not repent, we must pay the price ourselves and even after paying the price, ourselves, we still would not qualify to re-enter Celestial Glory, to be with and to become like our Heavenly Parents, because we would have demonstrated that we DO NOT have Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and we ARE NOT Humble and we do not have a "Broken Heart and and Contrite Spirit". What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

Wendell Eyring
Eternal Life is "God's Life". Eternal Life is the ultimate in "Happiness and Joy". Eternal Life is much more than simply living forever, shucks, "Everybody is going to do that". Eternal Life is the reason this life and this earth exists at all, to give us a chance to achieve "God's Life". Eternal LIfe is something you have to "Make Happen" whereas living forever is going to happen no matter what you do or don't do. Show more Show less
