Hi I'm Chelsea

I am a student, I enjoy the outdoors, I am a triplet and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. I love the snow and the sun. I like to think that I can do pretty much anything I put my mind to. Hiking is one of my favorite things to do when the weather is amazing out. I am in college and studying not just for the degree, but for the opportunity to become someone better and more capable to help those around me. I love people almost as much as I love mint chocolate chip gelato. One day I hope to have a family and to experience all the wonderful things life has to offer with them. My dreams include going to Rome and to Italy one day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not born a member. I used to be Catholic and even went to catholic school so of course when I decided to convert many were shocked. After a year of waiting and prayer I asked the Lord what path I should take and my prayers were answered. I am the only member in my family. Life can be hard at times but we are given no mountains we can not cross. The gospel means the world to me! I have never been more happy or sure of anything in my life! Through prayer I was able to have my own questions answered and I was able to build a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father. Isnt it great! Where there is a question there is always an answer. I am a Mormon because because I want to be.

How I live my faith

I choose the path i walk. I dont let the opinion of others drive my actions. I put all my trust in the Lord and things always work out. I lived of the world but have since moved. Being popular is not being happy. True happiness can only be achieved through Jesus Christ. If you dont believe me then try it yourself. I live in the light and I am there to stay. If you don't set high standards you will never reach or grow. I love growing because when I do, I know that I am not stuck.

What is being a Mormon like?

Chelsea
Being Mormon is amazing. Its like having a huge family fill of genuine love and benevolence. Being Mormon is great. It gives you a sense of direction in your life and it opens up so many doors. I am almost always happy but when I am not, my faith is what brings me back up. I think thats why we love to serve others and do missionary work. We want others to be just as happy as we are and to join our huge and happy family. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Chelsea
Mormons are not some elite group that only helps out other members. We live to serve others. In fact a lot that we do we do for others. We try to live as Christ did. We help all whether they be sick, homeless, depressed, or just lonely. We provide humanitarian aid to those who need it around the world to improve the quality of life for those who need it. Through missionary work we also serve others. Service is key to happiness. Through service we answer other's prayers. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Chelsea
Family is so important because they can bring about the most change both to an individual and a nation. When we strengthen the family it becomes a line of defense against the things that are wrong in the world. The first people we call when tragedy strikes is our families. This is true no matter what religion you are. God gave us families so we can learn and grow. God is often referred to as our Heavenly Father. As a father, He loves us enough to give us a family to protect and comfort us while we are here on this earth. Through the will of the Father, families can be together when our lives end and eternity begins. When you think beyond the bounds of this earthy life it becomes clear what really matters. We bring family with us which is why we need to strengthen it. Show more Show less
