Hi I'm Heather

I am a wife, daughter, sister and friend. I am a baker and a crafter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in New York but live in the Midwest. I am the oldest of 6 children with loving parents who have moved us all over the world with the military. I am a home body but also love to spend time with family and friends. I care deeply, I am compassionate and love to serve others. I love to bake and do crafts. I work full time but look forward to the day I can be a stay at home mom. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 20 years and we are looking forward to adopting a child to share our home with and raise with love. I love to travel and have seen some of the world but would love to see more. I am silly and spontaneous and love to laugh and have fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel gives me the necessary tools to gain a greater knowledge of my Savior Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for the increased understanding of the Atonement through the commandments and principals of the gospel that guide my life and bring me comfort and joy and help me grow closer to my Savior Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. The constant companionship of the Holy Ghost has guided me to avoid choices that would cause me painful or difficult consequences and has comforted me in my times of trial. I feel so much peace when I live the gospel because I have a greater understanding of where I came from and where I am going and what my purpose is here on this Earth. I appreciate my husband and family more because I understand the importance of families in Heavenly Father’s plan and strive to be an eternal family.

How I live my faith

…Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (Matthew 25:40) I have tried to live this scripture in my life by doing service unto others. Service has made me appreciate my life and helps me to show love to others as well as my Savior Jesus Christ. I have the same morals and values every day of the week that I have on Sunday. I try to live and do what the Savior has taught about loving my neighbors as myself. When I truly love those I serve I understand more fully the love the Savior has for me. I try everyday to be the an example for good and truth by following my Savior's example.
