Hi I'm Ted

I teach college students. I have three great children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outside (hiking, biking, walking, swimming, skiing, or playing sports). I am a father of three wonderful kids. I returned to school after 10 years working as a financial advisors. I am really enjoying the opportunity to be back in a learning environment again.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always found it fairly easy to believe in Jesus Christ. Because of my belief in Him as a loving, caring Savior, the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are also easy to believe. The Church teaches us that our Heavenly Father created this world for us so that we can learn and grow, have experiences, and prepare ourselves to live with Him again. Essentially, the purpose of this life is to have joy through coming to know Jesus Christ and following his example by loving our neighbors. To help us along our way, Heavenly Father has also provided us with living Prophets who teach us Gospel truths, families to help us, and the Holy Spirit to guide us on the path back to God. I am so grateful for the knowledge that I have of the purpose of this life. It brings so much meaning and significance to the struggles in life that might otherwise seem unbearable. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and love me.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by allowing the teachings of the Gosepl of Jesus Christ to penetrate every aspect of my life. My knowledge of the Gospel and its truthfulness help me in my work, my relationships, and especially in my family. I hope that those around me can recognize the values that I hold by seeing the way that I act and treath those around me.
