Hi I'm Raisa

I'm in love with cinema, musical theater and animation!

About Me

I am a cinema lover since I can remember. I absolutely love watching movies and learning with the stories. I plan to study cinema in the future. But before, I am going to serve a full time mission for the church. I also love to drive my bug and go out with my brother

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a mormon because the church provides me answers that I need. Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going to? These were the questions and the Church has helped me to find the answers. Also, my relationship with my family improved and I have a better understanding of life, family and Jesus Christ. Also, being a mormon is all about understanding the trials in your life and why they are there. It gives me eternal perspective on who I want to become. Today, my best friends are members of the church, my favorite books are the scriptures and my favorite day of the week is Sunday, because I get to go to church and enjoy the blessings of the restoration of the Gospel fo Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

.Since I have been a member I have callings and I serve in the church. I have already worked with children, youth and women. I have also organized dancing activities for the youth and I loved it! Serving in the church has helped me gain a stronger testimony of the church. I read the scriptures and pray everyday for guidance. I also like to share the gospel throught internet using twitter and facebook.

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

God's laws towards families never changed. God stablished marriage to be between a man and a woman and any kind of sexual activity outside of marriage is a sin. The church however realizes there are people out there who experience same sex attraction. Having these feeling and inclinations is not a sin, but acting upon them is. Members of the church who find themselves experiencing these inclinations, can fully live the gospel and make sacred covenants AS LONG AS THEY LIVE THE LAW OF CHASTITY. Show more Show less
