Hi I'm Chris

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an intern in Washington D.C. , living in the basememt of my parents with my incredible wife and our brand new baby boy. We will be returning to Provo, UT to finish up our schooling later in the year. My parents are such great examples to me and my own new family has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. We met at a Church sponsored local dance and met up again after a two year mission for my Church in the South Pacific island of Samoa. Our brand new boy teaches us so much of finding joy in life and loving EVERYone. We are in love after our first two years of marriage and plan on being so forever. She teaches me how to use my talents to help others and focus on what matters most. I love to snowboard, skateboard, have movie nights, and read about early American history. I appreciate the blessings God has given each of us.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have led to happiness. I have learned how to treat my family and those around me. Most of all, I believe that it is God's Church and is the same Church Jesus Christ had set up on the earth when He was here. Through the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ I have learned that I am a child of God and that through the sacrific and atonement of Jesus Christ I can live with God again. Because of what Jesus Christ has done, and through our faith and obedience to His teachings, my family can be together forever. This is why I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to simply be the best I can each day. I often struggle, but as I read the scriptures and pray I am reminded how Jesus Christ can help me overcome and be worthy of eternal life. Happiness can be found as we are with those we love and try to love them back. It also comes as we come to know that we really are important and are children of God and that he answers our prayers. Could you imagine kneeling down every morning and night and having a conversation with the Creater of our universe each day? I have learned that He answers those prayers and guides our path. He really does listen. I love the Gospel and the joy it brings in my life!
