Hi I'm Manda

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I was raised on a cattle ranch in Northeastern Utah. I moved to Colorado in 2003 to work as a dental assistant. In November 2010, I got married to a wonderful man in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple which is located in South Jordan, Utah. In January 2012, we moved from Colorado to Alaska for my husband's new job. I love spending time outdoors- camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding. I enjoy playing sports- volleyball, basketball, racquetball, tennis. I love doing yoga. I also enjoy reading, card-making, and watching movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know the doctrines of the Church of Latter-day Saints are true! I know that we lived with a Heavenly Father before we came to this earth. We came here to earth to learn and grow so that we can return to live with Him and our families again. The doctrines of this gospel show me what I must do in order for that to happen. This gospel teaches me about our Heavenly Father's plan for each one of us. We are all His children. We are all part of something that extends beyond this earth. That knowledge helps me make it through the struggles and trials of life, and it makes the joys of life even sweeter.

How I live my faith

As a member of this faith, I have had opportunities to serve others in my church. I have been given opportunities to learn and grow by teaching peers as well as the youth.
