Hi I'm Jenny

I'm a Mormon. I am a wife, mom, and soon to be grandmother. I love my family, animals, nature, good music, and working out.

About Me

Spending time with my family makes me happy. I especially enjoy working out with them. We have always worked out and played sports as a family. I find that keeping fit together brings us closer. We laugh even though its hard, we encourage each other, and then get to relax together. We love the feeling of a good workout. My husband and I both attended Brigham Young University and of no surprise we met in the weight room there. We now have a daughter who is graduated from BYU, one that is currently attending BYU, and a son who is still in high school who hopes to attend. I love animals and enjoy the company of my dog. I love the wind as it rushes through the trees and I love good wholesome music and dancing with my son cause he loves to dance.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon first by my mom; meaning, my mom taught me the gospel and I lived and breathed her testimony. Then I decided I wanted to receive the same answers she had received - that of knowing the church was true for myself. This was a changing point in my life. My testimony did not come over night or with a bolt of lightening. But none the less it came as I applied the principles of the gospel to my life. I learned line upon line and precept upon precept. I felt the power of God in my life as I strived to be obedient and live as I had been taught in every detail. Blessings began to flow. At times the joy in my heart became overwhelming and I thought it would certainly burst. My love for the Lord was magnified as I felt His love for me. I felt the power of His Atonement. The windows of heaven have been opening up ever since and I have received a witness through the power of the Holy Ghost that it is true without any doubt. I now live and breath my own testimony and cherish it with all my heart. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and look forward to seeing Him again someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day because I love the Lord each day. I want to know him and draw closer to him. He has done more for me than I could ever repay through His infinite atonement. I want to be better and each day I am given a new opportunity to be better. Therefore, I stive to be obedient and keep his commandments. While I still have challenges and stuggles in my life, I know with the Lord's help I can overcome and do all that he asks of me. I show my love to him by the way I live my life. I have a desire to serve others and to love more unconditionally as he has taught me through the scriptures. I enjoy helping others and find great personal rewards in doing so. I love my associations with other members of the church as they strenghten my testimony by the way they live their life. The church gives me many opportunities to serve and share my love for the Savior. The sisterhood in the churh is a great strength to me as I lean on them for friendship, standards, and commitment to family and God.
