Hi I'm Sherri Scatena

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a single mother of 3 beautiful children. They are my life! I was born and raised in the church by loving parents who continue to be a great example to me. I have 1 sister, and 5 brothers. We are very close and become even closer as we have endured trials and tribulations. Being single isn't easy but I am grateful for a loving family who has taken on the responsibility of making sure we stay on track. Life is good! My oldest son, Elder Queston Armijo is serving the Lord in the London England South Mission, the same mission that my father served. I am so proud of him for choosing this path in his life and his service has blessed our family and others. UPDATE: I am no longer a single mother. I recently married my best friend and now I am a mother of 6 and now 4 more sons to get on missions! I am up to the challenge and am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for blessing me with an amazing man who heads our family but is right by my side in the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have faithful parents who taught me to pray and love the Lord. I know this church is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I know and recognize the peace I feel in my heart as the the Light of Jesus Christ. It's exciting to have this direction and understanding in my life.

How I live my faith

I continue to take my children to church as we feel the love of our ward family. I love teaching the children of the New Testament. I am learning right along with them. I have again started to read the Book of Mormon but this time is has a broader meaning as my son is teaching from its pages. As now I am the mother of a blended family I feel even more committed to the gospel and seek to have the spirit in my home. In my profession I try to always be an example to those around me and share the gospel every chance I get. It is my ROCK.
