Hi I'm Rich

I'm a Software Engineer for an Aerospace Company. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married for more than 25 years. I have 6 children, a son-in-law and 2 grandchildren. I enjoy reading medieval English history, watching movies from the 1930's and 1940's and watching football.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the Mormon church. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to God and asked if it was true. I received an answer to that prayer that convinced me that it was a book that came from God. I then decided to go on a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and share my feelings about Jesus Christ and that His church was on the earth. I was able to meet many wonderful people in Guatemala where I was asked to be a missionary. Some of them joined the Mormon church by being baptized and receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I currently have the opportunity to work with the Cub Scout program through my membership in the Mormon church. I help with the organization and planning of scouting activities. I also donate time every other Saturday at the Mormon Temple here in town. I donate my time to help others who are need, whether if be moving in or out of the area and yard projects. I participate at least annually with community service projects organized by my local church congregation such as creating trails and putting up fences at a nearby reservoir.
