Hi I'm Angela

I grew up in Arizona and move to Colorado for my husband to go to college. We loved it here and decided to stay.

About Me

I am a mother of 3 and grandmother to 6 wonderful children. Each brings me joy in all that they learn and do. It is so wonderful to see traits in all of them that are either like their parents or grandparents. It makes you really contemplate where they learn some of these traits...especially when a child acts or resembles an uncle or aunt. Other activities that brings me joy is baking, sewing, reading and bicycling. There is nothing as beautiful as a walk during a colorful sunset, or looking for a rainbow after a spring or summer shower.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born in a Mormon family, but I had to learn for myself if I truly believed what my parents had taught me. When I was a teenager, I too asked the Lord if the gospel of Jesus Christ was true. Those answers to prayer did not come in a grand fashion, but came in small whisperings. As I heard someone teaching principles of the gospel I would have a warm feeling come over me and I knew what they were sharing were true. I can say I know my Father in Heaven loves me, he sent his son Jesus Christ to die for me, to provide a way back that I too someday can live with them.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily, I pray and read scriptures to help me learn all that I need to know to become more like my Savior. He loved and helped others, even when it was not popular. He told Peter to "feed my sheep" so I try to help others around me. I take dinner into homes when people are sick, I try to look for the good in others around me and try not to focus on their faults. I also try and share the message of love one another as Jesus taught.
