Hi I'm Zoeanne

I am a wife and the mother of 6 children. I work as a medical assistant, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was a stay at home mom for many years, but just recently went back to work. In my spare time, I love to read and spend time with my family. I have been married for almost 23 years, and we are the parents of 6 children. 3 boys and 3 girls. Over the course of our marriage, we have lived in 10 different houses and 6 different states. I have loved living in many different places across the country, and making new friends. Moving so much has been both a blessing and a challenge in our family. I studied nursing and accounting in college, and now work for a cardiologist.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a mormon family, but came to know the truth of the gospel for myself when I was in high school. During this trying time in my life, I started reading the scriptures on my own and really praying to my Heavenly Father. When I would read and pray, I felt so happy and peaceful, and I knew that I truly did have a Father in Heaven who loved me and cared about me. The happiest that I have been is when I am living a righteous life and striving to follow the example of my Savior Jesus Christ. Being a mormon hasn't kept me from having trials and difficulties, but it has given me the strength to endure my trials and learn from my Savior's example. I have read both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is a second witness of Christ and HIs life. As I read and study the scriptures, I feel the influence of the Holy Ghost in my life. I know that when I strive to keep the commandments and always remember my Savior Jesus Christ, that I am blessed with the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost. Being a mormon brings me peace and happiness in a world full of fear and uncertainty.

How I live my faith

I have served in many different capacities in the church throughout my life. My most basic and fundamental form of worship happens each week as I attend church, partake of the sacrament and renew the covenants and promises that I have made. I have spent many years teaching the children and youth in the church. For the past few years, I have worked with children ages 3-12 and taught them ways to come unto Christ and follow His teachings and example. Currently I am working in the organization for the women of the church. I try to come to know each woman from our congregation and to reach out to them and help to meet their needs. I also have a few women that I visit at least once a month so I can give them a spiritual message and help strengthen them and let them know that they are loved and cared about. We have no paid clergy, and the members of the congregation all have duties and responsibilities that we all fulfill to help support and sustain each other and the community.
