Hi I'm Michael

I am a patent attorney. I speak Russian. I am an Orange County native. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I had such a great time growing up in Orange County and feel fortunate to now be raising my own family here. I feel so lucky to be married to my best friend, who was my first date in high school and the love of my life ever since. My wife and I are blessed to have three beautiful young children (two boys and one girl). Our oldest child just started kindergarten and so we are beginning the school phase of life. I enjoy my career as patent attorney specializing in the medical device and computer technology areas. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and playing and watching sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I am a Christian (meaning that I believe in Jesus Christ) and when I was fifteen I prayed to God with a sincere desire to know whether the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's original church re-established at this time upon the earth. I received a confirmation from God in my mind and in my heart that it is. I have been blessed to continue to receive confirmations of this fact throughout my life as I have continued to attend my local congregation and live the principles of Christ's gospel that are taught there.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by seeing others how God, my Heavenly Father, sees them and to treat them and love them as He would. I try to be an instrument in God's hands in reaching out to serve those around me who are in need of His care. I strive to be the best that I can be every day and, although I always seem to fall way short of perfection, I find comfort in the fact that I am moving in the right direction. I know that God does not require me to do extraordinary things; he only requires that I do extra ordinary things to show my love for Him and for His children.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Michael
I know that there is a God because He hears and answers my prayers, even though some of them may seem trivial and insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Sometimes He answers my prayers through thoughts that enter my mind. Sometimes He answers my prayers by simply helping me feel in my heart that He is there and that He is aware of me and loves me. Sometimes He answers my prayers through other people. Show more Show less
