Hi I'm Chip.

I'm a Mormon. My wife and I joined the church in 1981 following the birth of our first son. We now have four children.

About Me

I am an orthodontist in the Denver metro area since 1987. We moved here from the Chicago area to enjoy the outdoors and the healthy environment in beautiful Colorado. We look back upon Chicago with fond memories, but love the people, activities and life in Colorado. As the parents of four grown children and (presently) six grandchildren, we enjoy the opportunity to get together and to celebrate the experiences of life. Besides serving patients within our community, I also enjoy golf (very humbling) and scuba diving. The outdoors has always been a special treat for us.

Why I am a Mormon

Having been raised in a Catholic family, the gospel has been important to me my whole life. As we contemplated the birth of our first son, we chose to seek a greater understanding of what the Lord would have us do and know. Some friends of ours shared with us the restoration of the gospel as Christ had formed in the early church. After 30 years, we can look back and see how the Lord has guided our steps, our conversion and our lives. The church has helped us to teach our children principles of worthiness, patterns of righteous behavior and spiritual support in a challenging world that blesses their lives today. I witness that the Lord Jesus Christ lives, and is my personal Savior. Through his atoning sacrifice on my behalf, I can become a better person, father and servant. I grow closer to the Savior in living His principles and following his instruction through the scriptures and our prophet, Thomas S. Monson.

How I live my faith

I have grown through service to our community and our ward in leadership positions in the church. I presently serve as a Family History Consultant to aid individuals search to find their ancestors and build memories for generations to come. It is a pleasure to teach Sunday school classes on using the church's Family History program- New.Familysearch.org. In addition to teaching classes, we also work with youth groups and individuals in uncovering their personal, and eternal connections with their ancestors.
