Hi I'm Daryl

I am a husband, father, and golfer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy family activities and spending quality time with my wife and children. I have worked in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry for years, which has given me the opportunity to live in different locations and travel to a variety of cities throughout the world. I am an avid sports fan, and I especially love watching college football and playing golf.

Why I am a Mormon

Living the gospel in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has been the greatest blessing in my life. I was fortunate to be raised by parents with strong faith and testimony. Through prayer and frequent study of the life of the Savior, I learned for myself that the gospel is true. The atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ has given me great strength through trials and challenges, and I know that God has a deep and abiding love for me and for all his children on earth. Experiencing 'life' has been much easier through having a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. My opportunity to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Scotland was a wonderful experience. I loved teaching the gospel to the people of Scotland, and my mission experience formed a solid foundation of faith in my life.

How I live my faith

I work with the young men, ages 14 to 16, in my church. Serving the young men has brought great blessings to me personally. I enjoy the young mens' energy and zeal for life. We meet weekly to work on requirements in the Boy Scouts of America, serve our community, and build faith and testimony. I also teach lessons during Sunday church meetings to the youth. Sunday's are a special day for my family. We go to church and relax from our 'normal' weekly responsibilities. Our family particularly loves reading the scriptures together and visiting other members in our church. We also have 'Family Home Evening' on Monday nights to teach each other the gospel, sing, and hold fun activities. Focusing on each other as a family has brought us close together, and has created lasting memories.
