Hi I'm Chuck Austin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father and grandfather. I have a married daughter, a 19 year old son and a 4 month old grand daughter. I am also a student. I am finishing a degree in business administration and applying for MBA programs. I like to read books, especially historical biographies. I am a master electrician and a custom home builder.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized at the age of ten and loved the things that I learned at church. I drifted away from my beliefs during my teenage years. After getting married, I realized I wasn't the kind of person I should be to raise children. I returned to the church and the beliefs I loved so much as a child. I felt the spirit of the Lord return in my life and I have tried to be true to the standards the church teaches ever since. I have seen how the church has blessed my family and especially my children growing up in today's world of shifting values. I have learned that living the standards taught by the church brings happiness and peace.

How I live my faith

I teach 6 year old kids on Sunday at church. I love their enthusiasm and unconditional acceptance of each other. I visit three families from church every month to show them support and offer any help they may need as a family. In turn, two wonderful men visit my family each month and offer their support. I have been a scout master for my church sponsored scout troop also. The most joyous relationships, outside of my family, have come from the service I have been involved in at church.
