Hi I'm Dale

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a quiet person, and have a wonderful wife, six children and fifteen grandchildren. We are a happy family. I live in Colorado and love the mountains, the crystal clear streams, and the colorful sunsets. I enjoy the outdoors, especially camping and hiking with my wife. I have a Masters Degree in Accounting, and retired from the US Fish and Wildlife Service in 2004. I grew up on a small farm, where my father raised sheep, and where I learned to work and was taught many lessons that have helped me throughout my life.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ through love and example. Over time, through personal prayer and study, I concluded that what I was taught was true and those things became important to me and guided my decisions. After I was married the plan of happiness taught by the Church especially the eternal nature of the family became a guiding influence, and has brought my family much happiness.

How I live my faith

The gospel of Jesus Christ is about loving God and our neighbors. I try and show by my actions that that I love God, by striving to keep His commandments, and following Jesus Christ. In 2006, my wife and I volunteered to serve a mission as a senior couple, and were called to serve in the Cape Coast, Ghana mission for 18 months. It was a wonderful experience for us and, hopefully helpful to the Ghana people who became our friends. I endeavor to be kind and help others, to accept people for who they are, to be a person of integrity, and to be honest in my dealings with others.
