Hi I'm Katie

I'm a cancer survivor, I'm a mom, I'm a designer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My life is fantastic. I graduated college with a degree in graphic design. I am married to the most wonderful man in the world, have identical twins and a beautiful daughter. While I was pregnant with my daughter, almost 4 years ago, we found a grapefruit sized tumor in my chest, after 8 rounds of Chemo, and a stem cell transplant I am officially in remission. I love designing anything, dancing, having fun, and taking pictures of my kids. it hasn't been easy, but it is still fantastic, because it's my life.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom grew up Jewish and my dad was Catholic. They learned about the church from their neighbors. My sister died when I was 4, and my dad stopped believing in God because of it. I grew up a Mormon, but I didn't have the family life that most Mormons have. I believe that through that I gained my greatest testimony. The gospel makes me happy! Through my trial of cancer I found strength in my Lord, Jesus Christ. I found peace and happiness though a major adversity.

How I live my faith

I work with the young women in my church and I love it. I help them work on their personal progress; which is a goal oriented program that helps the girls learn about themselves and build their own testimony. I help the PTO in my kid's school, and I try to be honest and helpful.
