Hi I'm Alicia

I am a small-town, mountain girl living in a city. I am a Mom to two amazing little boys. I am a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of two little boys. A wife. I graduated college with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I now teach my two boys. I enjoy traveling, water-skiing, sewing, baking, reading, and playing with my children. We love going to the mountains to do everything boating, hiking, picnicing, camping, four-wheeling, snow-skiing, and mostly we love being with our families.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into a Mormon family. My parents were converts and encouraged us to find out for ourselves if we thought the church was true. I then prayed and felt the spirit on several occasions that confirmed that the church was true. I also love that where ever I go in the world I can have instant friends of people with the same beliefs, standards, and I never have to feel out of place as I can almost always find someone with the same belief of Christ! The church also is very family oriented which is so important to my husband and I as we want our children to be surrounded by people with good standards and values.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching my children daily of Christ, and of his Prophets. We sing songs, read scriptures, and we pray daily as a family. I also hold a calling to help plan activities for the women of the church in the area. We get together have fun, learn of Christ, and learn ways to enrich our homes. My husband and I attend the temple as often as we can to feel the Spirit and learn about Christ. I attend Sunday meetings and partake of the Sacrament weekly. We also try to set aside every Monday night for Family Home Evening to be together as a family and play games, have a treat, and enjoy being a family!!!
