Hi I'm Bud

I was born in Virginia and grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm a student at Brigham Young University and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a student studying psychology at BYU. I'm very interested in languages, and the way that people communicate. I speak Thai and am learning Chinese, and think that Asian cultures and languages are fascinating. I like to spend time with my friends, and the people I love. It doesn't matter to me if we're sitting inside or outside, but getting to spend time with people means a lot to me. I love to get out and enjoy the world around me by playing golf and other sports. One of my favorite places to go is into the mountains, especially during the winter time to go skiing. I have four sisters, two older and two younger and I love being the only boy in my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, so it was easy for me. From the time I was a little kid I knew that the church was true. I never doubted it. I saw the way that my parents actually lived their religion. In high school I came to feel the love of God in my life. and I knew from Him that this church is true.

How I live my faith

Being part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a great way for me to live my faith. More than anything else I live my faith by trying to love others and understand them in the same way that Jesus Christ did when He lived on the earth. By going to church, and visiting the members in my congregation and building friendships, we can come to live our lives as Jesus Christ would do.
