Hi I'm David

I am a computer programmer, woodworker, father and grandfather, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have enjoyed our 5 children. We are now enjoying the experience of being grandparents. My professional career has been in the computer industry. I have been an IT consultant and as well as having my own software development company. I enjoy doing things with my family, like jet-skiing, traveling and playing games. I also enjoy woodworking, home repairs and exploring the internet.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a good mormon home. I was taught and appreciated knowing that I had a Heavenly Father that loved me and knew who I was. I also came to know that he would hear and answer my prayers. I was taught that I was given the opportunity to come to earth to learn and to prove myself and look forward to the day that I can return to my Heavenly Father again. I am thankful that our Heavenly Father provided us a way to repent of our wrong doings and to be clean through the atonement of Jesus Christ. Although I was taught these things, I still needed to know for myself if they were true. Through personal scripture study and prayer, I received a witness that they are true. My life has been blessed because of the peace and comfort the gospel’s teachings bring.

How I live my faith

I remember as young child visiting our grandparents and my parents had taught us children to give service by helping with yard work. As parents, we have tried to teach our children to serve others as well. We have learned that some of the greatest blessings that come from serving others, especially the elderly is the friendships that we have created with them.
