Hi I'm Steve

I'm a husband, father and employee. I have many hobbies, I like, but struggle proficiency. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have two wonderful children. They are now grown and starting their own families. My life has been blessed with many experiences. I have been a clock repairman, a pilot, and a businessman. While I am not wealthy, I have been able to provide for my family. I like golf, racquetball, woodworking, water skiing, snow skiing, and the out doors.

Why I am a Mormon

The roots of my family can be traced back to the early restoration of the Church. But that is not why I am a Mormon, though there is no doubt that it helped me to find the truth early in my life. As a member of the LDS Church, I believe in personal revelation. After much soul searching, study, and pondering the Lord was gracious enough to me to reveal the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The knowledge gained through learning of Christ's gospel provides me with perspective and peace that helps me everyday of my life.

How I live my faith

Those who know me, know that I am not perfect. I do my best to obey the teaching's of Christ. I try to love my fellow man and perform simple acts of kindness. This does not mean that I never get frustrated in traffic or that I reach the level of love and kindness that I should. One of the great things about the Gospel is the knowledge that we learn and progress, "line upon line and precept on precept". I find that attending my church meetings and providing volunteer service in the church helps me to recharge my spiritual batteries. I gain strength through association with other members, reading/studying the scriptures and prayer. The people I work with know that I am a Mormon and help insulate me from situations that could compromise my values. I am very grateful for them.
