Hi I'm Jason

I grew up catholic. I'm a husband and father of 4 girls. I'm an engineer, programer and entrepreneur. I'm a Mormon convert.

About Me

My four girls span 6 years. I am an engineer and a web programer on the side. I love to ride bicycles, on occasion when I can get myself in better shape I enjoy triathlons. I grew up in the midwest, but I love the desert and the mountains of the Western US. If I had my wish I would spend my days cycling through the mountains. I spent far too much time in college without much direction, however, looking back I would not change my life. I love who I am and I love this gift of life that I have been given.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because of the love and prayers of my parents and the mercy of my loving Heavenly Father. After college my life took a wayward course which ultimately lead me back to church and then on to the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. My father prayed that I would find Christ in my life and return me to him during that wayward time, although, I am sure that he did not expect it to be through this new and often misunderstood faith. I am a member of this church (His Church), because frankly the Lord for whatever reason blessed me with an unwavering testimony that the Book of Mormon was exactly what it claimed to be. This only came when I knelt down and asked the hard question - "is this true, because if it is, and this is truly Your church and work on the earth, then sign me up I want to be apart of it? If it is not, then please let me know now so that I won't be wasting Your time and mine." Within hours I felt a surety of the truth of the Book of Mormon that I would stake my life on. And that is what I have done or at least what I am doing my best to todo.

How I live my faith

Currently I am teaching the adult sunday school class every other Sunday. I have only been in this "Calling" for a few months, but it has already been a great blessing to me. I love learning what the other adults already know.
