Hi I'm Eric

I love to run. I love to fly fish. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting. I love sports, especially Track and Cross Country. I attended a year of college before serving a full-time mission, Hmong speaking, in California. Now I am back at school to get a degree in Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the gospel and I consider that a wonderful blessing in my life. I was able to grow up in the church and develop my faith and testimony with the help of my family. However, I have had personal experiences that confirmed the things I have learned in the church. As I grew up, I always heard people sharing their testimonies about the church and the Book of Mormon, and for most of my childhood I just believed and relied on their testimonies. However as I got a bit older, I decided that I didn't want to rely on someone else's testimony anymore. I wanted to know for myself. One night in my bedroom, after reading from the Book of Mormon, I knelt down and asked my Father in Heaven if the Book of Mormon was true. I received an answer from the Holy Ghost, who testified of its truth to me. It's hard to describe the feeling I had when it happened, but I have no doubt that Heavenly Father answered my prayer. I now add my witness to the world that the Book of Mormon is true and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church restored again to earth. I love this gospel and I urge you to read from the Book of Mormon and pray to your Heavenly Father so that you may also have the same knowledge and joy that I have.

How I live my faith

I served as a full-time missionary and devoted all my time to teaching the gospel to the Hmong people. I have been so blessed by my Heavenly Father and I now have the privilege to share the blessings of the restored gospel with the people of the world. I have taken two years of my life to dedicate myself to the Lord and He has already blessed me more than I can describe. The joy I receive from sharing my testimony with others is greater than any joy I have ever felt before. I strive every day to be a little better, and even though I am far from perfect, I know that God will help me.
