Hi I'm Trent

I'm a Californian. I love to game. I love to live life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a single white kid from California. I grew up in a small town with a big family. I never limit myself on my interests so my hobbies are varied. You might even say I have a plethora of hobbies. I find that the more of life I experiance, the more people I can talk to and relate to. The ones I enjoy the most are board gaming, sword fighting, reading and writing, running (though I'm not very good at it), psychology, engineering, archery, mathematics, dating, singing and frisbee.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. My father's only rule, concerning religion, was that when we were growing up we could attend any church we wanted as long as we also attended the LDS services. When I was in middle school, I made some bad choices but kept coming to church because that's what was expected of me. I basically was there in body but my mind was always else where. I thought life was fine and everything was great and to a large extent it was, but one day I turned around and took a good long look at my life and realized that I wasn't the person I wanted to be. So I changed. It was hard at first and I made many hard decisions (and continue to do so) but as I started to read the Book of Mormon and paying attention at church, I felt that the choices I made became easier. I found Christ, in a sense, and He filled a hole in my life that I need knew was there. So I'm a Mormon (or a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) because I know it's true from living it's teaching. I know so therefore I cannot deny it.

How I live my faith

While right now I'm on a mission for the church and I've been studying the word of God like a mad-man to make up for all the wasted years. I always try to volunteer for whatever service projects I can get my hands on, even if I don't want to or I am tired because I can't afford not to have those blessings. Basically, I try to do all the Lord asks of me.
